Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Roses Valley – Dades Gorges

At 7:00 in the morning departure from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, through the Atlas Mountains (we will make small stops along the way to get closer to the beautiful landscapes and authentic Berber villages). The first stop will be the visit of the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a 16th century fortress classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and many great films were made there as well (Gladiator, Laurence of Arabia, the kingdom of heaven ...) . Then we continue Ouarzazate (lunch). Afterwards, we will go to the valley of Dades and the Valley of Roses, with a stop to see locally made cosmetics, through the fascinating palm grove of Skoura, where numerous ancient kasbahs stand out among the palm trees. Dinner and accommodation in the Gorges of Dades.

Day 2 : Dades Gorges – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, we continue to Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, where we will have time to walk inside the gorge. We will drive through the Ziz Valley, and the city of Erfoud to reach Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). After a cup of mint tea, we will ride a camel for 1 hour and 30 min. To enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset over the great sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. After a delicious dinner, you will have the opportunity to attend a traditional Berber music show while observing the stars and the crescent moon in the stunning Sahara desert. We will spend the night in a haima in the middle of the dunes.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Early in the morning, we get up to admire the other lovely view of the sunrise and then we will ride a camel to return to the Alberge. After breakfast, we will start our way back to Marrakech through Rissani, the origin of the Alaouite dynasty that reigns Morocco. Next we will go through the Berber villages of Alnif and N'Kob and through the Draa Valley to Agdez, where we will have lunch. Then we will return to Marrakech through the High Atlas mountains. We will arrive in Marrakech around 07:00. The end of our itinerary: 3 day excursion to the desert of Merzouga.
